Security Features
PayPorter configuration allows data transfers within the application to use the same encryption and security measures as the manual processes used today via a bank’s Website. By default, PayPorter uses HTTPS as the transmission protocol. The HTTPS protocol is the most widely used and meets all industry requirements for security. The PayPorter architecture stores all local configuration and log-in information in a secure manner. This information may only be accessed and edited by properly authorized PayPorter users.
For additional security and processing options, PayPorter enables email notifications to a specified list of recipients, including notification that a downloaded file is available for review.
